Wedding Dreams is Karen's second video production
for her University of Florida Telecommunications degree.
This project is centers on a girl dreaming about her wedding,
and then watching her wedding video. Our friends, Erin and John,
starred, and I was the Rabbi. I also shot most of the footage that
didn't have me in it and did all of the editing.
A few still shots:

Karen and I were crushed when I captured the footage though; there were
finger prints all over the lens all day! Two obnoxious dark spots persist
throughout the entire shoot -- one of them at the top right third focal point!.
It looked good in the LCD screen, and I'd physically harm anybody who touched
a lens... so I'm not used to checking. My mistake. In Hollywood you check every
time, and I check on my photo shoots even though I'm very strict with my lenses. *sigh*
We compensated by making the dream footage look like an old film cliche and
color (un)correcting it like there was no tomorrow.
The final project is about 4 minutes in length.
These quick last-minute projects for Karen's class reminds me how much I miss
shooting films and working on pieces over 30 seconds in length (don't get me
wrong though, commercials are fun and quite challenging!). I really need a
quality DV camera. This video was shot on a Canon GL1, the experience was vastly
superior to having to use the Canon ZR20 camcorder that I bought in order to
record events in life (not video projects).
