Memento Reenactment
The following project was our first project in the Full Sail Film Program, as part of the Digital Cinematography course.

We had about a week to create a 3-5 minute Reenactment and 60 second commercial. The major requirement for the Reenactment was simply that we do only one scene from a popular movie, and that it had to look as similar to the movie as possible.

Our Reenactment is of a scene from the movie Memento.

Interesting factoids:

Spencer and Brandon work on the set The background used for the first two shots are primarily made of styrofoam and posterboard. The "lights" on the wall are actually two yellow plastic cups, with the bases painted gold. The poster with photos, contains the initials of all the crew (my initials, AQZ, are the black mark at the bottom right of the board).

Erik Wieder and Spencer Lord drew the "tattoos" on Brandon Trones with blank ink. They eventually washed out.

The bottom frame contains a copy of a fake California drivers license that I made for this film. The photo on the license, as well as the polaroid on top of it, are both of Erik Wieder.

I remained good friends with the members of this group for the rest of my time at Full Sail, and even moved to Hollywood with Erik.

This amusing photo was taken as we wrapped this shoot.
